Having established herself as a true force behind the decks, Confetti The First quickly became a staple of the Washington DC/Baltimore and Los Angeles area electronic music scenes, being frequently booked by event promoters such as Insomniac, Darkroom Events, Badass Entertainment, Panorama Productions, Symbiotic, NuAndroids, Club Glow, HiBall Events, and Give Productions. She has performed at many notable venues including U Street Music Hall, The Howard Theatre, Flash, Soundcheck, 9:30 Club, and Ultrabar in Washington DC, The Paradox, Soundstage, and Mosaic in Baltimore, Maryland, Merriweather Park in Maryland, and Empire & Canal Club in Virginia, as well as long-running recurring events such as Spirit, Thunderground Thursdays and The Queers Upstairs in Baltimore MD, Transit in Fairfax VA, Expression Sessions & Cadence in DC, and many more. She has also performed regularly at festivals including Big Dub Festival, Nightmare Festival, Inferno, Otakon Convention, Unified Field of Consciousness, Yonderville Music & Arts Festival, Beauty in the Backyard, and Flower of Life. Confetti The First is also a resident DJ & host on the radio show, “The Audio Infusion,” on WEAA 88.9 FM in Baltimore. Over the course of her DJ career, Confetti The First has had the pleasure of performing along with some legends of the electronic music scene such as DJ Micro, Elite Force, Helicopter Showdown, Baggi Begovic, DJ Venom, DJ Shiftee, Designer Drugs, Wes Smith, Laxx, Nina Las Vegas, KITTENS, Sam Divine, Jody Wisternoff, Just Her, Rising Appalachia, dwilly, Genix, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Dubloadz, Breaks, The Glitch Mob, Liquid Stranger, Boogie T, Jason Ross, Virtual Riot, Andrew Rayel, SYREETA, and many more.
Confetti The First is an outspoken advocate committed to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a regular performer and participant at Pride events and festivals in major cities in the United States, including Capital Pride, Baltimore Pride, World Pride, Montgomery County Pride, Howard County Pride, and Alexandria Pride, as well as St. Louis (Tower Grove) Pride. She’s also been a founding member of the Emmy nominated reality TV show, “Drag Duels.” She has also performed for drag companies such as SAD Brunch, Absolutely Dragulous, MoCo Pride Center, HE.SHE.THEY., and Live In Your Truth, and has shared stages with prominent contestants from Rupaul's Drag Race: The Vixen, Peppermint, Mhi'ya Iman LePaige, and Naomi Smalls, The Boulet Brothers' Dragula star Desiree Dik, Camp Wannakiki contestant You'Neek Nu'York, King of Drag winner King Molassas, Big Brother reality TV star Angela Rockstar, and has collaborated with dancers from the ballroom House of Oricci. Confetti The First has also been invited to DJ for the mayor of Baltimore Brandon Scott and at the Great Hall at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC. She has been the go-to DJ for the City of Baltimore’s Waterfront Partnership, as well as many other government and corporate clients.
Her reach goes beyond the decks, as a co-host of multiple podcasts & a social media figure. Confetti The First has hosted multiple DJing workshops, educating both adults and children at various skill levels. She has also had the honor of playing events for record labels such as Dreamstate, Anjunabeats, Defected, and Insomniac.
